360° HEVC Tiled Demos

The demos on this page work only in browsers that support HEVC tiles in MSE like Edge (on selected devices) and Safari (macOS High Sierra)

To start the demo please click on the "Play Video" button and 360° equirectangular HEVC will start playback with all video tiles in lowest bitrate. Use your mouse (or touch on mobile) to move the viewport and only the video tiles that have intersection with the viewport will be requested in highest bitrate while the other tiles will be requested in lowest bitrate. Click on "Grid -> Show" to display a grid over the video with more information about current bitrate of each tile. You can also change the bitrate of each tile individually by clicking on "Mode -> Switch to buttons".
